F1's 2011 season Pridictions!!!!
It may not be a betting preview but if you want to know what's going to happen this season look no further than the PF1 crew's predictions.
Andrew Davies, Michelle Foster, Pete Gill, Shahida Jacobs and Julia Harris have given the verdict on what will (or at least so we think) happen this season. 01.Drivers' title
AD: Fernando Alonso. It'll be sweet FA for his third title. Ferrari are going to be starting the year stronger than they did last year and they really should have won last year. He also had an uncanny run of bad luck in 2010 - starting in Canada - which robbed him of a bizarre amount of points. This year he'll have a lot more competition from Felipe Massa - who will take more points off him than 2010, but the man from Asturias will prevail.
MF: Fernando Alonso. Not only is the 150° Italia looking to be really strong on qualy and race pace but I have to believe that Ferrari cannot fug it up twice in two years. And Alonso, whether you like him or not, is an extremely talented driver.
PG: Seb Vettel. These things come in two...
SJ: It's difficult not to go for Sebastian Vettel. Not because he will be the best driver on the track but because you just can't look pass the Adrian Newey factor. Fernando Alonso should be his main challenger as everything will be geared towards him. No doubt Massa has been told to toe the line.
JH: Vettel. Alonso may have the brawn (no, not him) but as the man himself said it's the driver with the fastest car that will take the Championship. Alonso will make some of the best moves but it will be Vettel who has the overall package to take the title.
02. Constructors' title
AD: Red Bull from Ferrari.
MF: Red Bull. While I would normally go with Ferrari, I worry that Felipe Massa won't come to the party.
PG: Red Bull. Massa the weak link to cost Ferrari.
SJ: Unless there's a mid-season meltdown or accusations of favouritism turn Mark Webber's head somewhere else, then Red Bull will walk it. The only things that kept them from wrapping up the title earlier last season were driver errors and reliability woes.
JH: Red Bull. Best car, great drivers, should be an unbeatable combination.

Hamilton says "He will beat Red Bull".
Lewis Hamilton is confident Red Bull will be overhauled at some point this season but admits it could be "several races" before that becomes a reality.
Hamilton and team-mate Jenson Button trailed in the wake of the in-form Sebastian Vettel in qualifying for Sunday's Chinese Grand Prix as the World Champion wrapped up the 18th pole of his career.
The German has largely had everything his own way in 2011, taking wins, setting fastest laps and earning pole positions at a canter, yet McLaren are just tenths of a second behind and leading the chasing pack.
Come the end of this weekend's race in Shanghai it will be time for F1 to return to its European heartland, where traditionally the speed of development moves up a gear.
And Hamilton, who qualified third in Shanghai, just behind Button, has warned the race to develop the cars off the track will soon become just as frenetic as the action on it.
Pirelli has revealed upcoming offerings
The Pirelli 'supersoft' tyre will make its debut at the Monaco Grand Prix in May.
The Italian tyre company have announced their line-up for the next three grand prixs, which will take place in Turkey, Spain and Monaco.
Hot and abrasive conditions in Turkey and Span see the 'hard' compound named the prime tyre which will be used for endurance running while the 'soft' compound will be the option tyre and used for faster laps.
The tight turns of Monaco mean that the 'soft' tyre is the prime option and the 'supersoft' - which will have red markings - will be the option tyre. Monaco will be the first time the 'supersofts' have been used.
"We've considered carefully all the circuit characteristics in order to help provide races as exciting as all the grands prix we have seen so far this year," said Pirelli's Paul Hembery.
"We're very much looking forward to Monaco in particular, where we will see the supersoft tyre in action for the first time. It's quite a different tyre to the rest of the range and should be very effective around the streets of Monte Carlo."
